Problem Statement
In response to the high stress levels among college students and the potential for social isolation in digital gaming, Elysium, an interactive mobile application, offers a solution. By integrating game-based stress management techniques with customization features, rewards, and outdoor activities, Elysium aims to foster healthier habits among college students, addressing a gap in user-centered design for stress management tools.
Process
Elysium is a collaborative project that involved a team of three creatives. Our process began with immersive UX research, followed by detailed competitive analysis and needs assessment through surveys. Using these insights, we crafted detailed user personas to guide our design decisions. With a focus on user-centered design, we carefully constructed the information architecture, ensuring intuitive navigation. We iterated our ideas through wireframing and prototyping, then finally, we subjected our design to usability testing for further refinement.
